These Terms govern your use of rentgomallorca.com (the “Website”). They do not replace the booking terms provided by Localrent or the rental agreement issued by the selected local car rental supplier.

1. About RentGo Mallorca

  • RentGo Mallorca is an independent car rental comparison and affiliate website.
  • We do not own vehicles, provide car rental services or operate a rental office.
  • The Website helps visitors find and compare rental offers available through our booking partner.
  • When a booking is completed through the Website, we may receive an affiliate commission. This does not increase the rental price displayed in the booking tool.

2. Booking Partners

  • The booking tool available on the Website is provided by Localrent.
  • Localrent provides access to offers from independent local car rental suppliers.
  • The selected local supplier provides the vehicle and is responsible for the handover, delivery, rental agreement and on-rental vehicle support.
  • RentGo Mallorca is not a party to the car rental agreement between the customer and the local supplier.

Before booking, please review the Localrent Booking Terms and all conditions displayed for the selected vehicle.

3. Prices and Payments

  • Prices, deposits, accepted payment methods, insurance and optional extras are displayed in the booking tool before confirmation.
  • An advance payment may be required through Localrent to confirm the reservation.
  • The remaining balance is normally paid to the local supplier using one of the payment methods shown in the selected offer and booking confirmation.
  • Delivery, after-hours service, additional drivers, child seats, insurance upgrades or other extras may involve additional charges when stated in the offer.

Descriptions such as “no deposit”, “low deposit” or “no credit card required” apply only to offers specifically marked with those conditions. A payment card may still be required to make an online advance payment through the booking system.

4. Booking Confirmation

  • A vehicle is reserved only after the booking process and any required payment have been completed and a confirmation has been issued.
  • The customer receives a confirmation or voucher containing the booking details and the local supplier’s contact information.
  • The customer is responsible for checking the dates, times, pickup location, driver details, vehicle conditions and contact information shown in the confirmation.
  • If any information is incorrect, the customer should contact Localrent promptly using the instructions in the confirmation.

5. Driver Requirements

  • Driver age, driving experience and document requirements depend on the selected vehicle and local supplier.
  • The main driver and any additional driver must meet all requirements displayed in the offer.
  • Original identification and driving documents must be presented at pickup.
  • An International Driving Permit may be required depending on the issuing country, language or format of the driver’s licence and the applicable rules.

The local supplier may refuse to provide the vehicle if a driver does not meet the stated requirements or cannot present the required original documents. Any refund in this situation is governed by the accepted booking conditions.

6. Vehicle, Insurance and Deposit

  • The insurance package, excess, security deposit and coverage exclusions are shown in the selected offer and rental agreement.
  • The customer should review these conditions before booking and again before signing the rental agreement.
  • Coverage may not apply in cases including unauthorised driving, negligence, driving under the influence, failure to follow accident procedures or use of the vehicle in prohibited areas.
  • Existing damage, fuel level and any supplied accessories should be recorded at pickup.

The conditions displayed for the selected vehicle, the booking confirmation and the signed rental agreement take priority over general information published elsewhere on this Website.

7. Pickup and Return

  • Available pickup and return locations depend on the selected offer and may include Palma de Mallorca Airport, hotels, rental offices or other agreed meeting points.
  • The exact location, time and supplier contact details are provided in the booking confirmation.
  • The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and location and in accordance with the supplier’s fuel, mileage and cleanliness conditions.
  • Late return, missing fuel, excessive cleaning, traffic fines, lost equipment or vehicle damage may result in additional charges under the rental agreement.

8. Changes and Cancellations

  • Cancellation and modification conditions are shown during booking and may vary by vehicle and supplier.
  • Requests to change or cancel a confirmed reservation must be sent to Localrent using the instructions provided in the booking confirmation.
  • Any applicable refund or cancellation charge is determined by the booking conditions accepted at the time of reservation.
  • Changes are subject to availability and may affect the rental price.

Car rental services booked for a specific date or rental period do not normally benefit from the EU 14-day right of withdrawal. Your cancellation rights are therefore determined by the conditions shown before booking, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights.

9. Accidents, Breakdown and Roadside Assistance

In the event of an accident, breakdown or urgent pickup issue, contact the local rental supplier immediately using the telephone number shown in your booking voucher or rental agreement. Follow the supplier’s instructions and, where required, contact the police or emergency services.

RentGo Mallorca does not provide vehicles or roadside assistance and cannot directly authorise repairs, replacement vehicles, refunds or changes to a rental agreement.

10. Website Information and Acceptable Use

  • We aim to keep the Website useful and accurate, but prices, availability and rental conditions may change.
  • Final booking information is displayed in the booking tool and confirmed in the customer’s voucher and rental agreement.
  • Travel guides, price examples and other Website content are provided for general information and do not constitute a guaranteed rental offer.
  • Users must not misuse the Website, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, scrape it in an unauthorised manner or attempt unauthorised access.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website’s original text, layout, branding and other original content are owned by or licensed to the Website operator. You may use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit Website content without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, vehicle images and booking content remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Responsibility

RentGo Mallorca is responsible for operating the Website and publishing its own informational content. Localrent is responsible for its booking system and services under its booking terms. The selected local supplier is responsible for providing the rental vehicle and fulfilling the rental agreement.

To the extent permitted by law, RentGo Mallorca is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent booking partners or rental suppliers, including vehicle availability, delays, accidents, additional charges or the condition of a supplied vehicle.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Privacy

Information collected directly through this Website is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Information submitted through the booking tool is processed by Localrent and the selected supplier according to their own privacy terms.

14. Complaints and Disputes

Questions about Website content should be sent to RentGo Mallorca. Booking-system questions, cancellations and booking payments should be sent to Localrent. Vehicle handover, rental charges, damage, accidents and on-rental issues should be raised with the selected local supplier.

Your use of this Website is subject to applicable law. Booking-related matters are governed by the Localrent booking agreement, while vehicle-rental matters are governed by the agreement signed with the selected local supplier.

Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer-protection rights available under applicable law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the Website, booking partner or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
